Our Story
Starbase Wraps started out as a hobby and grew into a passion project of providing the best products and services to our customers. We proudly use premium Geoshield window films that provide 99% UV protection and measure 95-98% of infrared heat rejection (IRR) on Teslas. We use various brands of cast vinyl wrap including Avery Dennison, 3M, and KPMF topped off with a ceramic coating ensuring an exceptional installation that will last for years. We also offer a budget-friendly 5-year PPF and a premium 10-year ceramic PPF by Geoshield to ensure your paint looks better than it did when you took delivery.
After serving our country for 22 years in the Air Force working in vehicle maintenance, transportation, and logistics, I wanted to follow my passion of making vehicles look awesome. My new mission is to serve you and your vehicle care needs by focusing on quality and safe installations of vinyl wrap, PPF, and ceramic tint on your Tesla. Why specialize in Tesla? Well they're fast, easy to maintain, cheap to charge, and are lightyears ahead of everyone else in technology. The only downside is there are only a few colors to choose from and they're like being in a magnifying glass without ceramic tint. That's where Starbase Wraps comes in, we help you stay cool in the summer with premium ceramic tint and can wrap your Tesla in any color you like so you'll be able to easily find it in the parking lot!
Did you know that by utilizing a heat rejecting window tint, you can increase the range of your electric vehicle or hybrid? Power from the batteries goes to operating the comfort systems, including things like lights, sound system and most importantly, the HVAC system. Depending on the vehicle, use of the HVAC system can reduce range from 9-17%. By reducing the heat entering the vehicle, the need to run the HVAC will be reduced and that will extend your range. Over time, through the extended range and reduced running costs, the window tint installation could actually pay for itself.
